Thanks to everyone and I hope this thread helps someone else in the future. I’m hmicron much into the super bowl this year so I will get some quality time trying to figure out what’s going on and I guess I will start installing my other applications later today after I wake up.

Do your homework and it should work out. If you haven’t got a smile on your face and laughter in your heart It took a little research to make sure to get the right one. When I sp a driver it told me that windows already had those drivers on the setup CD this was not jmicroh slipstreamed version but the actual xp install disk and do I want to use those on the floppy dive anyway.
To make matters worsethe damm DOS dialog box hid most of themand the scrolling was’nt obvious. When I built my sytem, at the point you f6’d to install the drive drivers you had quite a few to choose from. I’m running hotfixes and updates now.
