Message 8 of I have the round green ends on the connection; I tried a new pair of the same; I’ve checked the connections time after time and everything seems to be tight Speakers Not Working Hey, Here’s the story, so today I decided it was about time to clean my computer out of all the dust so I unplugged everything and proceeded with doing so. I get a message that tells me they’re not plugged in, but they are. Someone please explain this to me.

You can do a couple things but this depends on your setup. The 1st thought was update drivers, but you said you had done that. Message 3 of Message 6 of The internal speakers do not work even after sojnd the drivers.

Well great, alls well Thanks for any help! Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. They were working in Vista still work if I boot into itjust not in 7.

I also have the m monitor and have the green cord plugged in, but there is still no sound. Close the software program you are using that is experiencing the sound problems. I knew that wasn’t right so I booted back into Vista and checked the properties there.

If the previous steps did not resolve the volume issue, troubleshoot volume coming from the computer. When I boot into Windows 7 64bit, my headphones don’t work.

Also if you monitor didn’t come with a green stereo audio cable h;2009m 1 your monitor doesn’t have integrated speakers in it or 2 it should of came with it but wasn’t in the package for some reason. The HP support site is no help leading me in circles.

Please let me know if there is anything else I should do, thank you!! Helped me see that the computer was thinking my sound card was a manufactured by Microsoft.

They should be able to assist over the phone as well since you’te there and they can take control of the pc to help resolve hl2009m sound issue faster since you’re calling them. It will not allow me to high-light anything.
