However, never having work with linux other then Downloading and installing it I had know idea what you were trying to tell me to do. July 13th, 5. I’ve tried so hard to get this to work and nothing seems to be working. I thought that with the release of Lucid that a lot of problems would clear up by themselves this was the case with my laptop.

I got the F5D usb wireless usb adaptor and followed the instructions written by WilliamsEph97 and i think it worked except that the network preference continuously indicates that the USB ethernet is not plugged in, and the wireless utility also says it is disconnected. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I didn’t know if someone could help me out here because I am new to the Mac OS.
Installation is with iAtkos v1. I have iPC Close and save the file.
OS X thinks the wifi is actually an Ethernet account. Questions Must Have Adequate Information: Everything’s working great except the wireless will drop out after a while of inactivity. After much frustration of finding out that for whatever reason the RT73 drivers mentioned here were not working enough to be usable at its best point anyway with the wireless in my mf, and finding out about the pitfalls behind my old Linksys WMP54g yeah, the ‘bad’ one, coincidentally super-non-functional as wellF5e8053 am estatic about this.
I’m not sure if this is on account of me not having internet in ubuntu or what.
