Been playing for over 30 years. Back to the XL, and after a few shots started to hit high straight balls into a head wind from the left. Anybody out there test this or give an indication. Your review is absolutely correct! With the Tour Trajectory shafts my ball flight was more penetrating and got more roll than what I currently get. After playing with the clubs for several round as well as using them on mat and grass driving ranges, the scratches on the bottom of the club are very minimal. It is not all the club however.

The driver felt cheap. Wicked long and very straight. Hot Spot produces optimal launch conditions over a larger area of the face, maximizing ball speed for increased driving distance.

Normally a 45 inch shaft tends to keep me in the right rough. No it does not come with an offset. Long, long, long and straight. The impact is amazingly loud, as noted by others, but I don’t really mind.

I pounded my driver down the middle and got up with the XL Pro and pounded it down the middle as well. I bought the XLS 9. I play a draw and could not deal with this club at all.
I played again last Friday and hit the touur well again. The balls I hit off the heel of the club produced quite a vibration of the club in my hands, but alas, the ball still went straight as an arrow. I told my buddy that if I keep hitting them this well that I was going to buy it. Originally had a I like the club, and love the look of the head, but was having clevelans control issues.

Only one complaint, the face is very hard and vibration is hard on the joints. Cleveland has gone the extra step and has brought on Fujikura shafts as the standard for their clubs.
My question is which do your recommend, std or tour for a 65 year old with a 19 handicap, Overall, both models produced an extremely consistent ball flight.
I hit 50 balls most hibbore which went straight but none rose more than 10 feet off the ground and covered no distance at all, I felt somewhat disappointed. I just bought the club there today for Strongly recommend this club as a game improvement choice. The driver was supposed to hit the ball high, straight, and long. Great distance, the sound is just a bit harsh.
