So if you boot into Vista, it’s all good – and everything works, when you restart into Win 7, it doesn’t Right-clicking on realtek gives me “audio devices”. Make sure the speakers have a small green check mark on them.

On my Gigabyte motherboard granted, it’s an Athlon 64 based boardbut Realtek is pretty much Realtek This will bring dound a menu with the usual things – File, Edit, View, Tools, etc.
After all that, assuming it works, left click the white speaker icon osund choose “mixer”. The Realtek HD audio drivers should be, by default Windows 7 native drivers – and they should have been installed by default when you installed Windows itself.
Look on the Devices tab.
