If you’re having any trouble, it might be related to your drive letter problem. For all of the help and insight you guys have provided, my hat is off.
Fri Feb 13, 1: LUN and ID 1: Ok as I spend more time researching this I have found a workaround that xxp me use the whole shebang without the headaches taps wood.

Just right-click and choose “Sharing and security”. For every 1 true drive letter there are an additional 3 that are “ghosts”.
Thu Feb 12, 9: I have 2 major problems in this setup. Now all 6 of these CD-Roms are connected by what appears to be an internal 50 pin cable and terminated properly.
Put the flash utility and bin files on this disk 2. Fri Feb 13, You will have better luck with it.
Post what is listed for the Target-ID and LUN for a number of devices, particularly if you can determine which ones are ‘ghosts’. I could swear I 2940ue this once already Thu Feb 12, 2: Get a controller instead.

I also had to move the adapter around and try all the open pci slots in order for it to function correctly. I have found by manually removing the ghost drives WinXP only relocates and reinstalls them. This could help too The UW may not work in XP. Well I checked and strangely enough the LUN’s thing was still disabled. May 25, Posts: Mar 16, Posts: I got an Adaptec uw for this purpose.
